What You’ll Be Doing:

Essential functions and Key competencies:

  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development/Scrum team and stakeholders, defining product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities

  • Participate in strategic decision-making, market research, benchmarking, and competitor analysis

  • Ensure deliverables align with organizational OKRs and manage daily product operations

  • Communicate business needs, justify hiring for BA/PO positions, and follow escalation procedures for risks

  • Oversee and develop direct reports, including appraisals, goal setting, and involvement in the interview process

  • Act as an individual contributor when needed, defining and communicating requirements for the enterprise big data platform

  • Gather and validate business requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage enhancement intake

  • Support training and product documentation creation, and participate in production support processes

  • Strong understanding of US Healthcare Payer and Claims Domain, proactive knowledge management, and creation of reusable components

  • Excellent client interaction, communication, and analytical skills, with project management experience to drive tasks to closure

  • Respond to client data inquiries and concerns promptly and prepare presentations and reports to present data or results

  • Serve as a strategic visionary for Claims and Configuration Product domains, aligning business, market, and enterprise strategies

  • Facilitate cohesive solutions, provide direction to BAs and Scrum POs, and conduct technology assessments

  • Analyze the competitive landscape, provide input into the product portfolio roadmap, and assess third-party vendors

  • Monitor industry innovations, define user personas, and develop business requirements using industry-standard analysis

  • Ensure software meets functional specifications, participate in user acceptance testing, and alert project managers to risks

  • Coordinate and build teamwork across product and engineering teams, synthesize technical communications for executive presentations, and disseminate product vision and strategy across teams

Required and Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Experience defining and documenting business requirements, processes, and practices

  • 5 years of experience in HealthCare information technology with Payer, Provider, and/or specialty care organizations including system/process integration

  • 3 or more years of experience in Product Management, Data Science, or Analytics with a focus on technology

  • Mandatory health care market experience in some combination of Provider, Payer, or specialty care organizations

  • Track record of cross functional performance in delivery of requirements analysis activities, i.e.interfacing with marketing, finance, operations, etc.

  • Proven track record in establishing strong relationships with clients and vendors

  • Proven ability to develop a product from initial research to produce market competitive, scalable and high-quality offerings

  • Intense intellectual curiosity and an ability to view old problems with a fresh perspective.

  • Excellent written computer and oral communication skills.

  • Preferable experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Road mapping

Technical Requirements:

We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $120,000 - 160,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.
