For more information, visit www.solomonedwards.com. Position Summary: Our client, a leading global e-commerce platform, is undergoing a major upgrade to SAP 4Hana. As part of this transformation, they are seeking a highly skilled BlackLine Smart Close Implementation Consultant to join their automation team. This individual will be key in implementing and supporting the BlackLine Smart Close tool, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across accounting and business processes. This will be a remote role supported across multiple time zones, for a 1 year contract. Essential Duties: • Lead the BlackLine Smart Close implementation process, ensuring successful configuration and integration into the upgraded SAP 4Hana environment. • Provide functional and business support, focusing on accounting practices. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document necessary activities for implementation and provide ongoing support. • Teach internal teams how to use and optimize BlackLine Smart Close. • Support global teams across multiple time zones. Qualifications: • 5+ years of relevant experience. • Proven experience with Blackline Smart Close full-cycle implementation required. • Deep understanding of business processes and accounting principles. • Experience with system configuration and project management. • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, supporting multiple time zones. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Job Specific Competencies: • Functional knowledge of SAP 4Hana and Cloud transitions. • Experience working in large-scale SAP upgrades and cloud migration projects. • Knowledge of archiving processes and tools. Travel Requirements: No travel will be required. Salary Range: SolomonEdwards values your unique and individual experience and background. As such, we take a comprehensive approach when determining compensation for our roles. The compensation for this specific role is based on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to, education, licensure and certifications, location, experience, and training.
