Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Nashville, Tennessee

Description We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team located in Nashville, Tennessee. As a Desktop Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing basic support and maintenance within the Information Technology department. This includes tasks such as printer/copier support, equipment maintenance, storage room maintenance, desk setups, and A/V support. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide basic support and maintenance within the Information Technology department.

• Assist with printer/copier support, including toner & paper refresh, ordering supplies, removing jams, and recycling toner.

• Regularly monitor and maintain desk setups, including new hire setup, office moves, and regularly monitoring all desks for extra, missing, or malfunctioning equipment.

• Provide A/V support for special office events and video conference and telecommunications systems for meetings.

• Maintain Asset Management database and manage storage room inventory and cleanliness.

• Coordinate the repair and return of damaged laptops to Lenovo Depot Repair and manage asset disposal with vendor.

• Coordinate IT courier services and FedEx shipments.

• Provide basic IT troubleshooting and assist staff on use of office equipment, including fax, scanner, and copier.

• Utilize skills in Citrix Technologies, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Mac Computers, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deskside Support. Requirements • Proficient in Citrix Technologies

• Experience with Dell Technologies

• Knowledge of EO/IR systems

• Familiarity with Mac Computers

• Proficiency in Microsoft software and applications

• Skills in Active Directory management

• Experience with Computer Hardware

• Ability to perform Configuration Management

• Experienced in Deployments

• Proven expertise in Deskside Support

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred

• Prior experience in a similar role is advantageous

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
