Job Summary and Qualifications

The Dietary Aide will be a competent Support Services employee who is responsible for the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees.

What you will do in this role:

Break down of meal carts

Wash, Sanitize and properly store dishes, silverware, pots and pans

Taking garbage and trash to dumpster area

Washing work areas, walls and floors

Sanitizing, maintaining and breaking down the dish machine

You will strictly follow sanitation standards and hygiene procedures to guarantee the safety and quality of the service

You will perform routine tasks related to clean up and sanitation of kitchen and dish room

What qualifications you will need:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds several times a day

Ability to place cases, pans, utensils and plates on both low and high shelves

Ability to work in hot and damp environments

Ability to respond to emergency situations to avoid endangering themselves or others

High School Degree / Equivalent preferred

1 year of food handling experience preferred
