Jacobs Entry Level Water/Wastewater Engineer in Nashville, Tennessee

We are looking for a driven and curious client-focused Entry Level Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer in Nashville.

As a key member of our Nashville team, you’ll have the chance to challenge yourself and perform a variety of municipal drinking water and wastewater treatment work in the initial planning and design phase of projects. Working with other members of our team, you'll work on projects evaluating and selecting the best treatment approach to solve a client’s challenges and planning and designing treatment systems and plant improvements. Modeling interest is a plus. As part of our team, you will also have the opportunity to work with treatment processes that may include coagulation, rapid mix, flocculation, sedimentation, advanced biological treatment, granular media filtration, biological filtration, membrane filtration, disinfection, post-filter adsorption, emerging contaminant removal, residuals management, and other treatment processes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and pdf editors (BlueBeam preferred)

  • 0-2 years of previous experience

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering

  • Design software familiarity

  • A GPA of at least 3.0

  • Prior work or internship experience

  • Engineer In Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain in the first year
