An EOBP’s scope of influence is global and can extend up to VP-level across all supported organizations. EOBPs regularly interface with, partner with, and influence L8 and L10 leaders as it relates to preboarding and onboarding activities for newly hired executives and Academics.

Key job responsibilities

EOBPs build new leader and business partner relationships, creating and executing low to high touch onboarding programs for all supported populations. The ideal candidate will be someone who can work effectively with both internal partners and external executives, have the flexibility to effectively build and maintain relationships, possess strong judgement and communication skills with all levels within the organization, and be resilient when having to re-prioritize and deliver on the customer needs.

EOBPs create and manage partnerships with a new executive’s hiring team, PxT team, mentor team, and additional partners, as needed. EOBPs partner with all those involved with a new executive’s preboarding and onboarding and will orchestrate these experiences. Robust communication, both written and verbal is expected in order to effectively manage all actions required from partners and invested teams.

EOBPs create and maintain operational excellence by continuously driving efficiencies and quality in standard work and processes. They understand program metrics that assess new executives’ customer experience and implement process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. They serve as a subject matter expert and partner closely with practice leaders and hiring managers to align on how to best integrate new hires into their businesses. They analyze team performance data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive towards key goals.

EOBPs work across adjacent organizations and will influence business decisions in these orgs as they relate to executive onboarding. This role partners closely with recruiters, PXT, DEI, Learning and Dev teams, work authorization teams, and adjacent pre/onboarding teams for all orgs which EO supports.

EOBPs think big and are end-to-end owners of long term and high impact team and/or cross-functional projects. This role understands that it is always Day 1 and so helps to create and execute big and small bets for change, evolution, expansion, and partnership. The EOBP demonstrates executive-level professionalism and masters core job duties, accepting increasing levels of responsibility.
