Philips HSS Sales Excellence Analyst (Nashville, TN) in Nashville, Tennessee

The HSS Sales Excellence Analyst, accelerates commercial performance by supporting the Heath Systems Sales (HSS), Management Team with strategic insights, data analytics and reporting (funnel management, revenue and OIT forecasting), and program management. You will partner with the extended HSS team members to develop enterprise insights and strategies, while supporting the Commercial Sales (IDN), Government, and Strategic Solutions teams, as well as working closely with Marketing, Finance, and Operations.

Your role:

  • Automate reporting processes and consolidating data to provide a comprehensive view of performance within the NAR organization. Manages reporting and analysis for key metrics like Order Intake, Market Data, Opportunity Analysis, Forecasting, Salesforce Effectiveness, Territory Management, and Compensation. Enhances visibility and performance through key performance indicators, aiding in business planning and development. Prepare reports and presentations for management, simplifies complex data for senior leadership, and creates advanced Excel models and reporting tools for accurate sales alignment and analysis.

  • Consolidate market, customer, and industry trends with internal experts to identify opportunities and threats. Manage HSS Business Review Meeting preparations, ensuring effective communication and follow-ups. Oversee the forecasting market enrichment process and provide insights for reviews. As a Subject Matter Expert, you will deliver data-driven solutions, lead sales improvement projects, and collaborate with Sales Excellence Business Partners on daily management tasks.

  • Support sales incentive execution by providing analytics and insights to develop motivational compensation plans and fair quota distribution. Collaborate with the HSS Sales Excellence Business Partner on the annual readiness process, including data analysis for territory design and sales quota deployment. Challenge current processes to enhance and automate reporting through improvement initiatives, developing tools like dashboards and visualizations (PowerBI, Tableau, SFDC Einstein). Additionally, provide inputs to IT partners for further tooling development. Working within a global team, improve sales excellence and maintain strong relationships with Business Unit Sales Excellence Business Partners, Extended Commercial Operations, Service, Marketing, and Finance teams.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of demonstrated expertise in analytical functions such as sales operations, marketing, or finance, paired with 3+ years in the healthcare industry.

  • Your skills include proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, required); Saleforce.com (to include opportunity and funnel management), and experience with analytical and insight tools such as Python, PowerBI, Quip, Qlik, and Tableau.

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree (required), with a Master’s in Business Administration (preferred).

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

  • You’re an excellent communicator with solid analytical skills and proven experience in leading operational processes, capable of synthesizing data, and understanding business dynamics. You excel in collaborating with sales leaders, simplifying complex information, and delivering strategic insights while managing multiple projects. Additionally, you are a well-organized multi-tasker (understands tight deadlines, priorities, and building consensus), with bonus skills in sales territory compensation design and administration.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for Nashville, TN is $80,000 to $136,000.

The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
