Do you enjoy hands on work and have an eye for detail? We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in a facility located in Nashville. This is an entry/mid- level position with some experience needed. It is a great opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience in a manufacturing environment. SECOND SHIFT - Monday - Friday from 1pm - 9:30pm!! This is a direct hire placement opportunity!! This company offers amazing benefits such as:

Responsibilities

Qualifications and basic skills include but not limited to:

• Ability preform regular services and maintenance procedures, troubleshoot, repair equipment breakdowns, install new equipment.

• Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems and production related equipment.

• Ensure the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.

• Read and interpret engineering blueprints.

• Conducting routine maintenance and safety checks, excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Preparing and submitting maintenance reports.

• In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance.

• Good familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.

• Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.

• Knowledge and skill in hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, electric.

• Must be able to work in hot and damp environment, ability to work non-standard hours/weekends.

• Ability to comply with visual standards when working on equipment, processing material.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
