Army National Guard Units MANAGEMENT ANALYST (TITLE 5) in Nashville, Tennessee

Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a MANAGEMENT ANALYST (TITLE 5), Position Description Number NGT5199000 and is part of the TN ARMY Army National Guard. This vacancy is not eligible for membership to a labor organization. Responsibilities As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST, GS-0343-09 you will review organizational information (i.e., TDA organization and function manual), previous audit and inspection reports, applicable Department of Army (DA) or United States Air Force (USAF) regulations, and activity mission statements to identify tentative sub-objectives or "firm" objectives based on the role of the audit assignment. Participate in providing management consulting services on all aspects of improving management operations for the state. Accomplish management studies by applying professional best business practices and basic audit techniques to gather, document, and summarize data. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in administrative, professional, investigative, technical, or other responsible work which demonstrates analytical ability and a practical and theoretical knowledge of the functions, processes, and principles of management. Knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 24 months specialized experience or 1 year equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Experience, education, or training which has provided application of practices, theories, techniques, and methods of management. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and developing policies and procedures of local management. Education Education Requirement: If you are using education to qualify for this position, master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree. You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
