Adecco US, Inc. Manufacturing Engineer in Nashville, Tennessee

Our client, an industry-leading and global manufacturer is hiring a Full-Time Manufacturing Process Engineer for their facility located just 30 minutes west of downtown Nashville.

The Manufacturing Process Engineer will design, optimize, and implement industrial processes in order to maintain the efficiency of production and reduce costs, improve sustainability and maximize profitability.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Designing, configuring, and optimizing industrial processes and drafting innovative solutions to improve production efficiency and quality of output.

  • Developing strategies for Cost Reductions, Improvements, and Stabilizations.

  • Leading improvement projects and implementation of new technologies as well current system upgrades.

  • Analyzing, monitoring, and testing equipment and systems.

  • Evaluating processes and equipment, conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations

  • Collaborating with the maintenance team and production leaders through equipment installations, and set-ups.

  • Troubleshooting problems associated with manufacturing processes and identifying, diagnosing, and resolving root causes of issues as they arise.

  • Utilizing lean tools such as Visual Shop Management, Problem Solving Flow Charts, Process Observations (time-study), and other lean/statistical tools.

  • Creating standardized operating instructions for processes and managing process resources and documents.

  • Providing leadership and direction to engineering techs and supporting production.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.

  • 3+ years of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment

  • Proficiency with Smartsheets, SolidWorks, Autocad, Microsoft Office, and blueprint reading, SAP or similar systems.

Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
