The Tennessee Credit Union Mortgage Loan Servicer in Nashville, Tennessee

The TEN Credit Union is seeking aMortgage Loan Servicer

This position will be based out of our Main Office in Nashville, TN. Hours are Monday - Friday: 8:00am 5:00pm.

Compensation:$20 - 22/hour

Day-to-Day Job Duties Include:Set up and maintain borrower records on servicing software and keep borrower informed regarding changes in rates, insurance, etc. Manage the collection of monthly payments and maintenance of escrow accounts. Assure accuracy and completeness of loan closing documents. Provide reports, documentation, etc., as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic knowledge of real estate terminology and thorough knowledge of secondary market mortgage servicing.
  • Familiarity of automated secondary market mortgage servicing software.
  • Computer/work processing skills
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints, while maintaining accuracy with financial calculations and detailed work.
  • Ability to interpret policies and procedures, and to research and solve problems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English orally and in writing; communication skills in other languages also desirable.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer for long periods of time.
  • Ability to stand, twist, bend, squat, crawl and climb.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
  • Ability to drive a credit union vehicle.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school education or equivalent required.
  • Two years related experience preferred.
  • Current NMLS license or NMLS registration preferred.

To be hired for this position the candidate must pass a drug screen and background check.
