Summary:

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Network Administrator to join their IT team in Nashville, TN. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of network infrastructure, troubleshooting, and security best practices. They will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and optimization of the network environment, ensuring its reliability and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain network devices (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls)

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues

• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures

• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures

• Manage user accounts and access control

• Document network configurations and procedures

• Stay up-to-date on the latest network technologies and trends

• Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Network Administrator or in a similar role

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking protocols and concepts

• Experience with network troubleshooting and diagnostic tools

• Familiarity with network security best practices and technologies

• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cisco CCNA certification or equivalent

• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy

• Experience with cloud-based network management tools

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python)
