Robert Half Patient Service Representative in Nashville, Tennessee

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Patient Service Representative in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is mainly centered in the healthcare industry, where the selected candidate will be tasked with ensuring efficient patient services. The workplace lies within a dynamic and fast-paced environment that requires a detail-oriented individual proficient in CRM, answering inbound calls, authorizations, and benefit functions.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle patient check-ins and registrations for appointments.

• Facilitate the collection of copays and preparation of patient charts.

• Assist in managing our patient messaging system.

• Utilize software systems like NexTech IntelleChart and Practice+ for daily operations.

• Address and resolve patient inquiries in a timely manner.

• Ensure accurate updating and maintenance of customer credit records.

• Monitor patient accounts and take necessary actions based on account status.

• Handle inbound calls and provide relevant information to patients.

• Work closely with other team members to ensure a smooth patient service process.

• Adhere to all company policies and regulations in performing duties. Requirements • Candidate must possess experience in CRM

• Proficiency in answering inbound calls is essential

• Ability to handle authorizations effectively

• Experience in benefit functions is required

• Strong understanding and experience in creating charts and graphs

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to handle patient inquiries and complaints professionally and courteously

• Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively

• Strong computer skills and familiarity with office software and medical records software

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality at all times

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, higher education is a plus

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
