Job Summary and Qualifications

As part of the Marketing Analytics team the Senior Analyst of Operations Analytics will be focused on internal process efficiency and operational analytics and reporting. This position will be responsible for creating long-term operational data and analytics plans to track and monitor efficiency and effectiveness of marketing shared services. This includes leading the development, implementation, and management of operational tracking and reporting capabilities to gain visibility into our marketing services organization and its functions. This position will use data-driven methods to evaluate processes and procedures and will provide value through insights in the pursuit of operational excellence. This individual will be responsible for marketing operations analytics—with accountability for analyzing marketing processes, collecting data analysis, and delivering insights and procedural improvements that enable us to streamline operations and reduce waste across multiple functional verticals within the Marketing Services team. This role will work closely with leaders within the Marketing Operations and also across the wider Marketing and Corporate Affairs organization enterprise wide.

What you will do in this role:

  • Work across the entire Marketing and Corporate Affairs (M&CA) business unit to provide analysis and reporting on operational and team performance that will lend itself to the overall efficiency of delivering services to internal clients enterprise-wide.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders from across the organization including marketing and digital operations, CRM, IT, clinical operations, and other groups

  • Desire to work independently on a project from start to finish, understand the problem, gather requirements, find the correct data sources, work with data to create the insights that fuel the business

  • Guide the development and delivery of ad-hoc and standardized analyses or reports

  • Develop reports and dashboards to give clear visibility into project life cycle and prove value of projects and teams, including analyzing and optimizing capacity across MSO teams

  • Work with operations leaders helping them identify and establish KPIs, SLAs, and other quality standards to manage and measure the performance of their teams.

  • Manage relationships across all of MC&A to ensure superior stakeholder satisfaction and service

  • Has an ability to lead and develop reporting frameworks with scale in mind

  • Proactively identify issues and work to fix them using strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to problem-solving

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, operations, statistics or other related field

  • Ability to communicate effectively to stakeholders and team members across a complex organization

  • 2+ years of experience in an analytics or operations role

  • Experience in developing requirements for reporting needs and communicating that effort across teams and departments

  • Experience writing SQL queries and querying databases, making connections between different sources

  • Experience in building reports and analyses using business intelligence tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and Looker

  • Experience working with large data sets from different sources and combining those data in analyses

  • Problem solving; desire to work in an environment with fluid priorities and ambiguous requests
