As the Sr Manager of Product Innovation and Delivery, you will lead an organization of technical product managers and oversee their cross-functional teams organized in POD structures from the application of a formalized ideation approach leveraging design thinking through the delivery of net new applications to support next-gen technology initiatives in our most strategic business domains. These teams will be supporting complex, multi-million dollar product initiatives for those business lines. Your role will be critical in fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving within the organization while ensuring Accelerated Technologies is the Premier ITG technology provider that is stakeholder centric delivering world-class value as a leader developer, tenacious accelerator and trusted partner committed to the care and improvement of human life.

At HCA ITG, your deliverables will influence patient care. Everything we do matters.

  • Leadership and Team Management: Serves as primary point of contact for an ITG VP/AVP/Director area, serves as escalation point for resolution of product/program issues with other ITG areas and with HCA business units. Provide leadership and direction to other Innovation and Architecture Managers, their directs, and all POD structure teams, ensuring clear goals, and fostering a collaborative and creative working environment. Guide team members in understanding the design thinking process and encourage them to embrace a human-centric approach to problem solving. Demonstrated ability to cultivate a motivating environment which brings out the best in people and improves performance of others. Drives team cohesion, seeks and incorporates stakeholder input and feedback while diffusing tension.

  • Project Management: Oversee the creation and execution of prioritized initiatives. Ensure milestones, meeting cadences and deliverables are performed and being worked in a timely fashion. Monitor project budgets, resource allocation and risk management, ensuring project stay on track and within scope

  • Ideation Process Improvement: Lead workshops, facilitated training and feedback sessions to educate team members on idea acceleration process, design thinking principles, POD structures. Act as a mentor, guiding teams through the application of methodologies and raising up improvements based on feedback and lessons learned. Identifies and drives process improvement and adoption across the department.

  • Partnerships and External Innovation: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners and innovation networks to access cutting-edge technologies, ideas, and best practices. Proven ability to develop strong stakeholder partnerships, from staff level to executive suite; builds trust and drives consensus among parties.

  • Managing Execution in Cross-Disciplinary Teams: Effectively lead 3-4 varying cross-disciplinary teams, both direct and non-direct reports, to ensure seamless execution of innovation projects. Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, promoting open communication and knowledge sharing among team members from diverse backgrounds and expertise areas. Ensure effective teamwork, leveraging the strengths of each team member to drive innovation and achieve project goals

  • Emerging Technologies and Technical Solution Alignment: Ensure collaboration with technology experts to identify opportunities for integrating innovative solutions leveraging cutting-edge technologies. Ensure that proposed innovations align with the company's strategic technical objectives, customer needs, and market trends. Foster an environment that encourages experimentation and piloting of new technologies to deliver breakthrough solutions that set our organization apart in the marketplace.

  • Delegation and Empowerment: Delegate responsibilities within the POD structure teams to empower team members to take ownership of specific tasks and initiatives. Provide regular updates on progress, milestones achieved and any challenges encountered to ensure transparency and alignment.

  • Enforces accountability within staff, establishes controls and utilizes department metrics to measure success and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Performs personnel actions including hiring, assignment, reviews, recruitment and termination.

  • Collaborates with employees to define individual career development plans and encourages employee to track progress against development plan.

  • Develops leaders, program managers and team leads who are flexible, dynamic and can create an environment that maximizes speed of deliver, optimizes costs and increases efficiencies, instills resiliency and grows talent.
