Role Overview:

The AI Business Operational Prompt Engineering Intern will be instrumental in bridging the gap between AI technology and business strategy. This role involves working closely with both our AI teams and business units to develop, test, and implement AI-driven solutions that address real-world business challenges. You will play a key role in translating business needs into actionable AI prompts, optimizing operational efficiency, and contributing to strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business analysts and AI engineers to identify opportunities for applying AI solutions to business challenges.

  • Design and refine AI prompts based on specific business objectives, ensuring the output aligns with strategic goals.

  • Conduct analyses on AI-generated data to extract insights, inform business decisions, and measure impact on operational efficiency.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of AI initiatives, from planning through execution.

  • Develop presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management.

    Requirements:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related field with a strong interest in AI.

  • Expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with an ability to connect technological solutions with business outcomes.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Demonstrated interest in AI, machine learning, and their applications in solving business problems.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.

*This role is for summer 2025. Permanent US work authorization is required.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Colorado, or New York, Ankura is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current payrate for this internship is: $34/hr.
