Jacobs Water/ Wastewater Engineering Intern - Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee

As a key member of our Nashville team, you’ll have the chance to challenge yourself and perform a variety of municipal drinking water and wastewater treatment work in the initial planning and design phase of projects.

Working with other members of our team, you'll work on projects evaluating and selecting the best treatment approach to solve a client’s challenges and planning and designing treatment systems and plant improvements. Modeling interest is a plus.

As part of our team, you will also have the opportunity to work with treatment processes that may include coagulation, rapid mix, flocculation, sedimentation, advanced biological treatment, granular media filtration, biological filtration, membrane filtration, disinfection, post-filter adsorption, emerging contaminant removal, residuals management, and other treatment processes.

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering

  • Must be at least a rising Junior

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, pptx)

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • 3.0 GPA

  • Interest in a career in Water/ Wastewater engineering
