Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required with experience working in public relations or related area. Prefer applicants with:
Working knowledge of and experience working in an educational environment.
Demonstrated experience and active involvement in university activities, especially at the undergraduate level.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability in working with high school and college age students.
Job Concepts
Student recruitment to include large and small group presentations for college• day and night programs, as well as other established high school visits.
Establish and maintain contact with prospective applicants, parents, high school counselors and administrators.
Daily, weekly, and monthly reports which evaluate individual accountability in student recruitment.
Represent the University in a positive manner at all times. Perform all job functions to an optimal degree to create a caring, student-oriented campus.
Work-related travel, to include extensive overnight and some out-of-state training and conferences.
Schedule and administer campus tours throughout a working week, weekends and holidays to accommodate students and parents.
General involvement in other admissions and recruiting duties as assigned by the Director.
