Robbins Gioia, LLC Software Product Sales Manager in Nationwide, United States

Robbins-Gioia (RG) is seeking a Software Product Sales Manager to sell our software product, OpticsMRO™, powered by Lynx™, into the commercial Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) market. This is a unique opportunity to be the first sales position in our company for this new product. The ideal candidate will have a blend of sales experience and technical knowledge, with a strong background in the MRO market, preferably in software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to introduce OpticsMRO™ to the commercial MRO market.

  • Identify and engage potential customers, including small to medium airlines, aircraft manufacturers, and maintenance organizations.

  • Work independently to grow product sales across the US market

  • Utilize CRM tools to track leads, manage customer relationships, and report on sales activities.

  • Provide technical demonstrations, documentation of customer requirements, generation of quotes and support to potential customers.

  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide customer feedback and insights.

  • Maintain high standards of integrity and professionalism.

Required Skills

The Product Sales Engineer is an exempt, externally facing business professional who will play a crucial role in driving the sales of our new product, OpticsMRO™. This individual will be customer-facing and should have a strong sales background, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently across a large territory. They must possess excellent communication and presentation skills, value teamwork, and have a wide range of interpersonal skills.

Required Experience

To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.

  • BS/BA in Marketing, Business, Sales, IT, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering

  • 5+ years proven sales experience in the MRO market or related fields

  • Strong understanding of the MRO industry and customer base

  • Ability to work independently and manage a large territory including travel to customer sites and trade shows up to 50% of the time

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., SalesForce, HubSpot, NextStage.ai)

  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement

  • Proven experience in the MRO software market

  • Experience selling to airlines, aircraft manufacturers, or maintenance depots

  • In addition to commercial experience, familiarity with government contracting and sales to military organizations

  • Technical proficiency with planning and scheduling tools or similar software

  • Experience leveraging generative AI for sales activities
