Summary You will serve as a MANAGER in Code 74 of CARDEROCK DIV NS. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15. Responsibilities You will serve as the Division Head for Code 74. You will be responsible for the strategy and business development for the division. You will manage the division finances, infrastructure and human resources. You will oversee business operation and be responsible for cross division interactions and interdepartmental collaboration. You will require detailed knowledge of radar cross section, infra-red and electro-optical mechanisms associated with ships, submarines and other naval crafts, including unmanned vehicles. You will require experience with ship design and construction processes. You will require detailed knowledge in transitioning Navy technologies from applied research, through Research and Development to platform acquisition program. You will require strong knowledge of systems engineering concepts for the design, development and procurement of shipboard technologies. You will lead and manage a diverse group of scientists and engineers. You will require strong knowledge of mechanisms that produce radar signatures from naval ships and craft. You will require strong knowledge of methodologies to measure radar cross section, infra-red and electro-optical signatures of naval ships, boats and craft. You will strong knowledge of mechanisms that generate infra-red and electro-optical signatures from ships and naval craft. You will demonstrate strong knowledge and abilities for managing large research and development programs. You will demonstrate the ability to manage and coordinated of multi-year budget requests.
