WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO:

  • Provide laboratory technical and engineering support to customers, sales representatives, contractors, and architects

  • Run regular and advanced tests on concrete.

  • Learn to run tests on Iso thermal calorimeter and Thermogravimetric analyzer

  • Learn concrete petrography

  • Provide support and laboratory assistance with customer complaint investigations and the development of new or improved products

  • Actively participates in projects related to cement production and cement plant QC, raw materials, intermediate products, alternative materials, fuels, and additives - including plan of action development, execution, and report generation. Focus areas will be sustainable technology and plant optimization.

  • Support customers in the development and optimization of mix designs

  • Ownership of the competitive cement testing activities. Report results of competitive cement testing program to all stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedure

  • Oversee lab maintenance and upkeep. Schedule equipment calibration.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.

  • Knowledge of concrete products and design knowledge of cement-based products.

  • Knowledge of civil engineering.

  • Demonstrated experience in customer relations.

  • Solid computer skills including MS Office products.

  • Ability to think analytically and solid math skills to perform the analysis

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • This job requires individual to walk distances, lift up to 94 pounds, walking on rough surfaces, sitting and standing on a regular basis

  • Proven communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
