Responsibilities

The Production Manager is responsible for the staffing and management of production personnel manufacturing instant scratch-off lottery tickets. The position is also responsible for the coordination of support services such as Maintenance, Pre-Press, Systems and Support, Logistics, Purchasing and Engineering to ensure goals and objectives are met.

  • Hires, trains and directs the activities and work assignments of up to 45 production personnel.

  • Ensures adherence to local and corporate productivity and “cost of manufacturing” goals.

  • Reviews and analyzes production schedules to insure proper staffing levels.

  • Prepares and discuss performance appraisals and recommends focal point merit increases for subordinates.

  • Prepares and discuss disciplinary actions with subordinates.

  • Reviews and analyzes Work-In-Process and Final QC data to insure process defects are corrected immediately.

  • Implements and enforces ISO level work instructions while participating in ISO audits as needed.

  • Reviews draft Working Papers and pre-production plate proofs to ensure ease of understanding and printability.

  • Reviews and critiques work instructions and labor standards with Manufacturing and Engineering prior to release to production.

  • Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures.

  • Implements and enforces compliance to IGT and departmental policies, rules and procedures at all times.

  • Manages Production to stay on schedule and adjusts work flow as needed.

  • Follow all Company policies, procedures and rules related to Information Security, Quality and Environmental.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree or demonstrated equivalent experience preferred;

  • Minimum of five years' experience in a printing environment (Flexographic preferred);

  • Minimum three years' experience in a managerial or leadership role with responsibility for hiring, work performance and corrective action issues;

  • Experience with bindery packaging equipment preferred;

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite;

  • Familiar with ISO procedures and certification processes;

  • Experience training others in a classroom and on-the-job setting

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $38,281 - $156,700. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
