Community First Credit Union Consumer Loan Processor in Neenah, Wisconsin

Description

The Consumer Loan Processor prepares and reviews documents for both in-branch and digital closings, and demonstrates a high level of detail-orientation, organizational skills, and time-sensitivity. They will know all of the key functions in consumer processing, including Department of Motor Vehicle and Department of Natural Resources (DMV/DNR) documentation and lien processing. They will provide exceptional service to members and employees and share in a variety of responsibilities on a rotating basis within the department.

As our Consumer Loan Processor, you will:

  • Provide outstanding, quality service to external and internal members

  • Ensure accuracy and prepare secured loan documents for Lender by Phone loan closings

  • Monitor the digital loan closings pipeline, perform quality control, and disburse loan funds upon receipt of electronically signed documents

  • Handle lender questions and requests regarding consumer loans and DMV/DNR documentation

  • Communicate with 3rd parties on items related to payoffs and lien perfections

  • Assist with administration of eMV/DMV Partner & DealerTrack software

  • Review and balance general ledger entries related to lien filing fees and taxes collected

  • Prepare and submit DMV/DNR forms to respective agencies to secure our lien on collateral

  • Follow up on unperfected lien filings

  • Monitor and process emails received in the department shared inboxes

  • Verify and upload home owners insurance to tracking system

  • Complete processes related to our forced place insurance portfolio

  • Complete instructions for outgoing wire transfers for disbursed loans

  • Complete loan maintenance requests related to deferments and collateral changes

  • Back up support for our student loan program

Our ideal candidate will have a combination of:

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent degree (GED, HSED)

  • Minimum of one year of lending or financial services experience is preferred

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and web-based software packages

  • Passion for providing outstanding service to our members – internal and external
