District School Psychologist

Duties:  Conduct psycho-educational evaluations, write reports, and make interpretations of the evaluations available to appropriate personnel and families.  Provide leadership to Intervention Assistance Teams.  Design and monitor interventions in all academic settings.  Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and lead the team in designing, implementing, and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans.  Consult with teachers, administrators, other school personnel, and community agencies to meet the academic and mental health needs of students.  Provide professional development and consultation to school personnel regarding evidence-based practices to meet the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs of students.  Additional duties as assigned by the Director of Special Programs and/or Superintendent or designee
