Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable/Receptionist in New Bedford, Massachusetts. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, efficient handling of accounts payable tasks, and exceptional customer service. You will be reporting to the controller and will be the first point of contact for our visitors and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications and maintain records

• Handle phone calls and welcome visitors

• Perform data entry tasks such as entering new vendors into the system

• Manage invoice processing tasks, including scanning and uploading invoices

• Confirm receipt of invoices and run checks to pay bills

• Perform account reconciliation and check runs

• Code invoices and utilize software such as SAGE, Oracle, QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel

• Carry out receptionist duties, including receiving visitors and clients

• Adapt to a flexible range of duties as necessary

• Maintain a steady pace of work in a non-fast paced environment.

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Account Reconciliation

• Ability to handle Check Runs efficiently

• Proficient in Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills

• Familiarity with Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle database

• Knowledge of QuickBooks software

• Familiarity with SAP ERP system

• Receptionist Duties including handling phone calls and customer inquiries, maintaining office supplies, and managing mail and deliveries.
