Child & Family Services Outpatient or School-Based Clinician in New Bedford, Massachusetts

Job description Child & Family Services is a client-centered, strengths-based agency that strives to provide optimal care and services to our communities as well as maintaining an inclusive and supportive environment for our staff. We are looking to onboard driven and passionate Master\'s level clinicians to join our team as Outpatient or School-Based Clinicians! The Clinician provides consistent, high-quality care and psychotherapy through an array of evidence-based, culturally competent, person and family-centered treatment. These services are provided in a variety of different settings including but not limited to outpatient clinic, school, and the community. *Offers can be made pending verification of MA degree* \$1/hour Language Differential! (eligible languages include: Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Spanish or ASL) Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply! Qualifications: Masters level degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work or a related field from an accredited educational institution License Eligible or Licensed (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LADC-I) - NEW GRADUATES WELCOME! Must have valid driver\'s license and reliable vehicle to travel between school and office location Responsibilities: The following responsibilities are not meant to be all inclusive and may be adjusted to meet the agency?s needs. Provide a safe, welcoming, and clean environment for our clients and families Perform trauma-informed assessments to identify the unique needs of clients Conduct short-term individual, couples/family, and group therapy for individuals and families with mental health and substance use disorders across the lifespan Maintain a yearly production expectation based on hours worked Complete billable services within 24-hour of event Utilize collaborative documentation as a treatment modality Engage in effective coordination of care across health and behavioral health services to facilitate wellness and recovery of the whole person Make referrals or link to care coordination, peer support and recovery services when needed Support transitions of care, including assisting with the development of aftercare planning with clients and families Provide crisis management services and coordinate with Emergency Services as appropriate Serve as a community educator by providing mental health information to relevant individuals, organizations, and groups Utilize evidence-based interventions, including motivational interviewing, to develop person-centered treatment plans through collaborative documentation Maintain a flexible schedule that is conducive to providing services in an open access model that will include in-person and telehealth services Maintain a caseload of clients and be open to triage and accommodate walk-in appointments Maintain record-keeping as required by CFS, funding sources, and accreditation authorities Participate in all supervision and training activities as required by CFS, funding sources, and accreditation authorities Keep EHR calendar up to date to support centralized scheduling Maintain CANS certification If licensed, complete continued education to maintain clinical professional licensure and ensure that licensure remains active
