The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, supervising staff, optimizing warehouse space, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The role involves coordinating logistics, tracking stock levels, and ensuring timely shipments while maintaining quality standards. A Warehouse Manager must also collaborate with other departments, manage budgets, and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs Responsibilities ? Supervises warehouse staff and daily activities. ? Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals ? Communicates and coordinates with other departments to ensure the highest quality service to both internal (NW) and external customers ? Manages the workforce within the Warehouse Operation to ensure an efficient operation is maintained ? Supervises Receiving, Picking, Loading, Unloading, Receiving and Put-Away processes in accordance with NW procedures. ? Reviews work throughout the work process and at completion to ensure that it has been performed properly. ? Provides training on computerized systems and equipment to include the Warehouse Management System, RF units, and Powered equipment. ? Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and in line with internal NW standards ? Performs the same work duties as those supervised or perform more difficult or skilled tasks or assist in their performance. ? Checks specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in work orders. ? Discusses and collaborates daily with production and transportation management in planning of internal shipments and receiving ? Other Duties as assigned ? Covers Inbound manager duties in their absence ? Other duties as assigned Requirements Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures. ? Experience with WMS (Highjump/Acellos) required ? Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls. ? Ability to operate all warehouse MHE safely effectively. ? Proficient computer skills. ? Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. ? Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. ? Strong people skills. ? Available to work extended hours. ? Schedules work tasks to associates and manage labor costs/overtimes.
