This is a position with grade 13Your role and responsibilities Leveraging the Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) process to implement effective sourcing strategies in line with local and global business and category strategies Ensure suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) savings, payment terms, OTD (On Time Delivery), quality, lead time, budget target settings and follow up for continuous improvement Define and establish local standard agreements with all major suppliers Provide and maintain standard terms in purchase contracts/terms and conditions in line with company directives and guidelines Design and implement cost out programs and/or processes to reach annual savings and operational cost reduction targetsQualifications for the role Bachelor\'s degree with minimum 5 years of relevant experience OR Associate degree with minimum 7 years of relevant experience OR High School Diploma/GED with minimum 9 years of relevant experience in sourcing/procurement/purchasing Proficiency with software applications such as MS Office (Example; Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.) Experience with SAP and Ariba SSS preferred Strong data analytics with continuous improvement mindset Demonstrated negotiation skills in a multicultural, global business environment A collaborative, solution focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the USBenefits Retirement plan Life insurance Disability insurance Wellbeing program Healthcare planMore about us ABB Drive Products is a technology leader serving industries,...
