SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Setup Technician will serve as a key technical resource in the repair, changeover, and processing of blow molding equipment.
JOB DUTIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Changeover/start up blow molding machines and support equipment.
Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot blow molding machines/support equipment.
Analyze the current setup process/structure and make recommendations for improvement.
Recommend changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase the efficiency.
Develop into a “key” subject matter expert.
Perform preventative maintenance as required.
Work closely with maintenance on reporting and/or fixing any machine repairs that are needed.
Follow all safety procedures to keep a clean area in our active, fast-paced, team environment.
Communicate openly and cross-functionally with coaches and teammates in a positive manner.
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned and contribute to improvements.
Must have own tools and toolbox.
Compliance to GMP, Food Safety, and Food Quality regulations as required by the company, customers, and/or government agencies.
Always be willing to help support other teams with open tasks and projects.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES):
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be 18 years or older.
Advanced technical certificate or formal education preferred.
A minimum of 2 years of maintenance or machine set-up experience (plastics or injection molding preferred).
Maintain flexibility in working hours to ensure that production is successful.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English instructions and documentation.
Ability to follow guidelines and work independently (as well as in a team) with little supervision.
Familiarity with basic business computer applications and mobile device applications.
Dependable and on time.
Must be able to embrace Radius culture
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift/carry up to 30 to 50 pounds.
Must be able to use fingers, hands, and arms for regular tasks.
Must be able to climb steps, have a good hand-eye coordination, and bend/squat.
Must be able to wear proper Personal Protective Equipment.
Must be able to operate effectively in temperatures ranging from 60 to 110 F.
Must be capable of visually detecting defects, depth, colors, variances, and see object s.
