ENGLISH LANGUAGE TRAINING (ELT)/CO COORDINATOR

Coordinate ELT and Cultural Orientation classes, ensuring that all eligible clients have access.

• Serve as instructor if there are no other tutors or classes available.
• Arrange or provide transportation as needed for on-site classes.
• Monitor, test and record progress of students.
• Conduct regular meetings for ELT/CO tutors and collect student and volunteer monthly logs.

Requisite Qualifications:

• High School diploma required; some college preferred.
• Some experience with ELT required.
• 3 months cross-cultural experience highly desired.
• Above-average organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Above average ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel.
• Valid North Carolina drivers license and available transportation required.
• Knowledge of an IRM case load language a plus.
• Proof of COVID vaccine

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
