Candlewood Suites Front Desk Associates in New Bern, North Carolina

Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner - Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring all necessary information is obtained - Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries promptly and accurately - Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner - Assist with reservations and room assignments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency - Maintain a clean and organized front desk area - Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records - Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction - Perform night audit duties as needed

Skills: - Strong knowledge of hotel management systems and procedures - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively - Proficiency in operating phone systems and other office equipment - Solid understanding of hospitality management principles and practices - Experience working at the front desk of a hotel or similar establishment preferred - Ability to provide exceptional guest services, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations - Excellent phone etiquette with clear verbal communication skills - Multilingual skills are a plus, particularly in languages commonly spoken by hotel guests
