Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Network Administrator in New Braunfels, Texas. The role involves managing and maintaining our network systems to ensure optimal performance and security. You will be tasked with handling a variety of responsibilities, including network design and implementation, firewall management, switch administration, and network monitoring.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement network designs, ensuring the routing, switching, and firewall configurations meet business requirements and maximize network security.

• Manage and troubleshoot Palo Alto firewalls, including rule creation, policy enforcement, and intrusion prevention.

• Oversee the configuration, management, and troubleshooting of Juniper switches, including VLANs, port configurations, and link aggregation.

• Monitor network performance, identify and resolve issues, and implement preventative measures to minimize downtime.

• Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices, including vulnerability assessments, patch management, and incident response procedures.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.

• Coordinate with network equipment vendors for support, maintenance, and upgrades.

• Utilize skills in Cisco Routers, Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments. Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar role

• Proficient in managing Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies

• Knowledgeable in Citrix Technologies and Dell Technologies

• Proven experience with Active Directory and Backup Technologies

• Ability to handle Computer Hardware and Configuration Management

• Experience in managing Deployments and Database systems

• Skilled in operating Palo Alto Firewall and Juniper Switches

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Excellent communication and team management skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is preferred

• Relevant detail oriented certification (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) is a plus

• Must have the legal right to work in the location of the job.
