Actalent Survey CAD Designer in New Britain, Pennsylvania

Job Title: Survey CAD Designer

Job Description

The Survey CAD Designer is responsible for the preparation and production of boundary, topographic, and physical feature location survey plans, subdivision plans, and land preservation surveys.

Hard Skills

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent or Bachelor's Degree

  • 2-3+ years of drafting/design experience in land development/surveying/civil engineering

  • AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience

  • Analyze and interpret complex data

  • Perform advanced math calculations

  • Prepare boundary, topographic, as-built and other types of survey plans

  • Create surfaces and produce elevation contours for topographic surveys

  • Prepare metes and bounds descriptions, description exhibits, as-built record drawings

Soft Skills

  • Report pertinent progress information to Project Manager and/or Surveying Services Manager

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in New Britain, Pennsylvania.

Work Environment

This company has a family feel, yet it is a large firm in the local area. Dress code is business casual.
