Job Overview:Clinical laboratory personnel, as members of the health care delivery team, are responsible for assuring reliable and accurate laboratory test results, which contribute to the diagnosis, treatment, prognosis, and prevention of physiological and pathological conditions in humans. Quality clinical laboratory testing is evidenced by performing the correct test, on the right person, at the right time, producing accurate test results, with the best outcome, in the most cost-effective manner.

Qualifications:

Required:

• BA/BS Degree in Medical Technology and /or related science.

• 2 to 3 years clinical laboratory experience.

• Applicant must have experience in Flow Cytometry

Preferred:

• National Certification

Scheduling Requirements:

• Full Time

• Day Shift

Essential Functions:

• Duties include accessioning, processing/staining, and analysis pertaining to immunophenotyping for leukemia/lymphoma detection,

• IVD testing for T&B cells and CD34 for stem cell transplant will be included,

• Familiarity with BD Canto and Lyric preferred,

• Candidate will work closely with Hematopathologists,

• Adherence to laboratory policies and procedures is required

• Additional duties will be assigned based of the needs of the section,
