| Posting Summary | Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow within the Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey.The primary purpose of the Postdoctoral Fellow position is to conduct independent laboratory research under the direction of the principal investigator. Incumbent expected to carry out various experimental and bioinformatics studies in the area of the lab. The focus of the Pasqualini lab is in the area of differential protein expression in the human vascular endothelium, associated with normal or diseased tissues, offers the potential for developing novel diagnostic, imaging, and therapeutic strategies. Our program uses peptide- and antibody-based combinatorial library selection to discover, validate, and exploit the vascular biochemical diversity of endothelial cell surfaces towards identifying new vascular targeted pharmacologics for clinical translation. Candidates should have a new or recent Ph.D. degree and strong background in molecular biology and mammalian cell biology (ABD candidates will be considered in the application process, but must be able to verify their PhD prior to start date). The candidate will have the opportunity to join and grow a highly productive lab.Among the key duties for this position are the following:
