CTG Project Manager in New Brunswick, New Jersey

Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manageropening for our client in New Brunswick, NJ.

Location: New Brunswick, NJ

Duration: 12 months

Overview:

  • The Project Manager in this position will reside in the Program Management Office and work collaboratively across the enterprise of the County’s Departments and Offices.

  • The Project Manager must have experience managing multiple medium to large projects working closely with cross-functional teams such as Business Analysts, Implementation Teams, External Partners and leadership to achieve project goals.

  • The project manager must have excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills and will report directly to the Director of the Program Management Office.

  • The decision-making autonomy within the Project Management description stated here are within the scope of the assigned projects.

Skills:

  • Organization: develop, organize, prioritize and manage work across multiple projects concurrently.

  • Leadership; lead project meetings with stakeholders and working teams to execute project delivery.

  • Communication; strong written, verbal and the ability to present information effectively.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficient in Project Management software (i.e., Microsoft Application Suite: Project, SharePoint, and PowerPoint).

Experience:

  • 10 years of Planning, Executing, and Overseeing medium to large scale projects with varying complexity.

  • Understanding of Basic Technical concepts and technology trends.

  • Proven track record of managing projects using various project management methodologies to deliver medium or large-scale projects.

  • Preferred Project Management Certifications include - PMP, PMI-ACP, ITIL or similar or working towards Project Management certification.

  • Experienced in Stakeholder Communication and Management up to and including executives.

  • Experience producing detailed status reports and dashboards to communicate project progress.

Education:

  • BS/BA degree from an accredited four-year college, university, or technical school in Business, Project Management, Engineering or related field.

  • Master’s Certification/Degree in project management a plus, not required.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
