Job Summary:

Suvi Global Services, LLC located in North Brunswick, NJ is seeking experienced warehouse workers to join our team of professionals.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • As directed, perform a variety of warehousing duties:

  • Offloading of UPS/FedEx,

  • Truckload Shipping (TL) and LTL (Less-Than-Truckload Shipping) freight, sorting of freight, receiving freight into WMS, put away freight, order pick small packages, cycle counting, physical inventories, safety, and housekeeping.

  • Will follow all of Akima & SUVI Global Services Safety rules and requirements.

  • Position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.

  • Perform all other job duties as needed.

Performance Measurements:

  • You are expected to receive a minimum of 100 packages or 100 boxes per day.

  • You are expected to receive one single receipt in 3-5 minutes.

  • Put-A-Way Process you are expected to put a single piece of freight away within five minutes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School or equivalent and 3+ years of experience

  • Strong command of the English language both verbally and written.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Orientation to detail.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, computers, printers, and scanners.

  • Proficiency in using a tape measure and using a banding tool.

  • Proficiency in using a stretch wrap machine, handheld stretch wrapping.

  • Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.

  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and meet the demands of our customer and management.

  • A working knowledge of/or experience in/with a Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), consolidation and 3PL operations.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team.

  • Strong personal drive and pride in workmanship.

  • Experience to operate a forklift is desired, but not required. Willingness to train on all material handling equipment.

  • Ability to successfully obtain a favorably adjudicated a Minimum Risk Public Trust (MRPT) Clearance/ Background Check.

  • Management reserves the rights to amend this job description predicated on the business and management needs.

Physical requirements on a regular basis:

  • Ability to lift/carry/push up to 100 pounds, stand for long periods of time, bend, squat, stoop, crawl, crouch, lean, kneel, climb, sit, and balance.

  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include use of a standard laptop, close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Hours of Operations:

  • 7:30 AM-4:00 PM.

  • First Break 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM. Lunch Break 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM. There is no afternoon break. It has been incorporated into lunch break. Mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays when required.
