Robert Half has partnered with one of their successful clients on their search for an Accounts Receivable & Collections Manager. As the Accounts Receivable & Collections Manager you will manage a high-net portfolio and a team of 6. In this role you will also oversee credit policies and collections processes, create and develop credit and collection programs that ensure accurate and timely collection on all outstanding client invoices while also creating avenues for cash flow, review customer contracts, reconcile government billings, and oversee the accounts receivable department. In this role, the candidate must possess strong communication skills, have a strong background in credit analysis, risk assessment, excellent analytical skills, and outstanding leadership capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities

· Oversee daily credit and collection activities

· Create departmental collection goals

· Verify customer payments

· Review and update client records

· Assess risk involved in loan transactions

· Credit Card Reconciliation

· Negotiate payment terms

· Post cash receipts

· Implement collection procedures and policies

· Recommend opportunities for improvement

Requirements

The ideal Accounts Receivable & Collections Manager MUST have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

Other requirements for the Accounts Receivable & Collections Manager role include and are not limited to:

· 5+ yeas of B2B experience

· CPA a plus

· Supervisory experience required

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Advanced Excel

· Strong understanding of financials

· ABS software preferred
