ManpowerGroup Senior Power Electronics Engineer in New Freedom, Pennsylvania

Our client, a leader in innovative building solutions, is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Power Electronics Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department, supporting the Power Electronics Team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Senior Power Electronics Engineer

Location: New Freedom, PA

Pay Range: $ 65-70/hr (W2 Contract)

What’s the Job?

  • Power Conversion Design: Lead the design and testing of AC-DC and DC-AC conversion systems.

  • Motor Control Development: Develop and test motor control systems for various applications.

  • System Simulation and Modeling: Utilize MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling, simulation, and verification.

  • Prototype Testing: Conduct prototype testing on hardware-in-the-loop systems and variable speed drives to verify control performance.

  • Quality Compliance: Ensure compliance with quality policies, procedures, and instructions during the development and testing phases.

What’s Needed?

  • Educational Background: BS with 10 years of experience or MS with 5 years of experience in Power Electronics.

  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AC-DC and DC-AC conversion, motor control design, and testing.

  • Simulation Skills: Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and verification.

  • Testing Proficiency: Ability to conduct hands-on testing, including setup and use of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and DMMs.

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
