Business Unit Overview

8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including pasta, peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers. The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Sanitation Utility is a valuable role for any food manufacturing business. Our Sanitation Utilities perform essential work cleaning and sanitizing out food processing machines and other parts of our facilities to ensure safe and edible product is produced consistent with food safety standards. This role performs strenuous work to remove food waste and machine by-products from the interior of our pasta making and pasta packaging machines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform sanitation responsibilities in assigned work area; follow sanitation manual and best practices to complete daily and weekly tasks. Complete thorough cleaning of production lines (shakers, dryers, coolers) during scheduled downtime. · Practice appropriate safety procedures when performing work inside and around production equipment or at other locations in facility; observe and follow appropriate lockout/tagout and fall protection practices as outlined by standard operating procedures and safety expectations · Proactively report any signs of infestations to your supervisor. If qualified, perform pest control activities by spraying and cleaning infested areas with approved pesticides, and in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulations. · Monitor and report all product protection issues as they arise (ex: glass objects in production area that could contaminate product or falling dust into product, etc. · Raise questions and concerns to immediate supervisor to ensure all sanitation practices are followed · Assist fellow team members in sanitation efforts on other machines, as needed · Other duties, as assigned

Education and Experience Required:

Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and overtime English proficient; reading, writing and speaking High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution Previous manufacturing experience

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:

· Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment strongly preferred

Physical Requirements: Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation: · Must be able to balance, bend, crouch, kneel, and stoop for 4+ hour per shift · Must be able to stand or walk for up to 12 hours per shift · Must be able to reach above shoulders for 4+ hours per shift · Must be able to climb/work off ladder for 8+ hours per shift · Must be able to work in a dusty environment, high heat, or humidity for 4+ hours per shift · Must be able to perform simple grasping for 8+ hours per shift · Must be able to push, pull, and feel for 4+ hours per shift · Must be able to list up-to 50 pounds for 4+ hours per shift · Must be able to express or exchange ideas by means of spoken or written word · Must be able to distinguish object or equipment visually
