FlexStaff Sales Assistant and Admin Support- Temporary assignment in New Hyde Park, New York

FlexStaff is hiring a Sales Assistant for a temporary assignment with our client, a leader in medical supply distribution. This position is slated from January- May 2025 and is primarily remote, with the possibility of having to visit the corporate office on occasion. In this role, you will be responsible for administrating the end to end process of reviewing and creating customer, or other related legal agreements for the Medical division. This position is also responsible for the ongoing administration of the agreements.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with Sales and Sales Operations Teams on RFP, RFI and bid responses to ensure accuracy and compliance with our company policy.

  • Prepares, reviews, and modifies customer, group purchasing organization or other related legal agreements for the Medical division. This responsibility includes gaining an understanding of the purpose of the agreement, reviewing the terms and conditions, and working with the owner of the agreement to ensure all open items and issues are resolved before execution.

  • Acts as a liaison between the Medical division and the Corporate Legal Department as needed for any legal agreements

  • Being a team player and working with various internal teams to meet and support deadlines

  • Tracks and maintains existing agreements database as well as notify the owners with any updates, renewals, and expirations

  • Ensures all relevant information of each customer agreement is executed and presented to appropriate department to ensure compliance obligations

  • Reviews and analyzes existing contractual agreements in response to owner, executive, and/or sales team inquiries

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-4 years experience as a Sales Assistant or Contract Administrator

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred

  • Knowledge of key terms in RFP's and legal agreements

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe

  • Basic business math

  • Analytical and organizational skills

  • Ability to effectively and proactively communicate with sales force and upper management

  • Excellent writing and communication skills

  • Very good ability to multi-task

  • Excellent analysis and problem solving skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

Possibly up to 5% travel to Albany office

The salary range for this position is $25-$27/hour
