Our client, a leader in the specialty chemicals industry, is seeking a Warehouse & Shipping Handler to join their team. As a Warehouse & Shipping Handler, you will be part of the materials management department supporting the safe handling, storing, and shipping of specialty chemicals. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Warehouse & Shipping Handler

Location: New Iberia, LA

Pay Range: $30,000 - $45,000

What's the Job?

• Safely operate a Forklift truck to handle materials.

• Calculate weights and measures for warehousing, receiving, and shipping.

• Unload and load bulk trucks and finished products for shipment.

• Prepare raw materials and containers for production.

• Document activities and ensure compliance with safety rules and procedures.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Forklift Truck operation experience required.

• 5+ years’ experience in processing or general batching industry preferred.

• Ability to plan and organize multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn ERP system functions.
