LEARN, southeastern Connecticut's Regional Educational Service Center,invites candidates to apply forIntervention Specialist openingsat our Regional Multicultural Magnet School located in New London, Connecticut.

This paraprofessional position supports the educational and behavioral development of Special Education students, working with a dynamic classroom team to provide instructional support, student monitoring and data collection. Training in Safety Care techniques is provided.

Qualifications: Level 1: Intervention Specialist:Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma and hold ParaPro certification. Experience working with children with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges and their families preferred. Experience in ABA programs preferred.

Level 2: Minimum of a Associates Degree or two years of college (equaling 60 credits or more) or hold current Registered Behavior Tech and ParaPro certifications. Experience working with children with autism or emotional/behavioral challenges and their families preferred.
