JOB REQUIREMENTS: Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of product packaging for the assigned work cell. - Inspect finished products to ensure that they meet the quality and packaging standards. - Communicate any product quality concerns to the first available Supervisor or Manager within a timely manner - Communicate any packaging concerns to the first available Supervisor or Manager in a timely manner. - Make spools, restock supplies, put finished rolls away, take out full skids, and assist with startups. - Package finished goods into boxes. - Maintain cleanliness of the work areas by sweeping, dusting and removing trash from the area on a daily/weekly basis. - Expected to complete all assigned tasks in accordance with Standard Work Procedure. - Expected to communicate any and all unsafe conditions, unsafe behaviors, near misses, incidents and/or accidents to a Supervisor or Manager immediately - Physical Requirements: - Demonstrated hands-on ability. - Ability to perform highly repetitive or short cycle work - Availability to work rotating 12 hour shifts - Capabilities and/or Experience Required: - Strong communication skills - Previous experience in a manufacturing environment a plus. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requirements: - Ability to work with a team - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of hand tools - Able to complete basic mathematical calculations and follow standard work instructions. - Attention to detail - HSD or GED ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: newlondon@qpsemployment.com This position is listed by a private employment agency.
