Responsibilities

Manages the purchasing, receiving, and shipping of Electrical Parts for our Panel shop & Electrical Engineering. Works closely with Electrical Engineering, Electrical Panel Shop, Plant Services, Maintenance and Plant personnel.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Review project / job parts list or BOM.
• Request quotation for project / job parts list from preferred Vendors.
• Share quotation with Electrical Engineering.
• Order Electrical parts.
• Provide Order Acknowledgement & ETA on parts.
• Provide status & costs of received parts on Jobs / Projects.
• Provide Plant support by shipping and receiving Electrical Parts
• Maintains spare parts inventory in MTO Electrical Shop.
• Purchases and Maintains supplies for Panel Shop.
• Write Purchase Orders through Oracle.
• Manage shipping and receiving of Electrical Parts.
• Manage parts inventory by Job / Project.

Job Skills:

This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:

• Oracle Software
• Reading & Understanding BOMs
• Good Communication skills to work with Vendors, Engineers, Plant Personnel & colleagues.
• Good Organization skills.
