Crescent City Schools 2024-2025 PreK Associate Teacher in New Orleans, Louisiana

Our Associate PreK Teachers impact students’ lives by:

  • Delivering instruction in the classroom and raising student achievement while working on a school team

  • Quickly implementing extensive weekly feedback and training into lesson delivery

  • Collaborating with teammates in grade-level and subject-level teams

  • Maintaining a classroom culture conducive to student achievement

  • Participating in daily, weekly, and quarterly meetings about student achievement

  • Embodying, advocating, and operationalizing the mission, vision, and direction of the school

  • Participating in the life of the school, including student activities and events

  • Taking on other tasks as needed

  • Have a BA or BS Degree, or currently within one year of completing a bachelor’s degree

  • Possess LA Teacher Certification or are enrolled in a certification program with passage of appropriate Praxis exams

    Physical Requirements

  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds

  • This is an in-person role
