Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for an Onsite Position at a New Orleans Area Client Site.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary, Offshore
Travel Requirements : Occasional offshore facility visits required
Essential Functions:
Seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work plan and design facility modifications for a New Orleans Area client's offshore assets
Perform engineering calculations, analyses, and other tasks using prescribed methods and procedures to generate functional and practical solutions across a wide variety of facility needs.
Develop AFEs, cost estimates, and MOCs. Manage project budgets.
Work closely with the assets team to ensure the project intent is met, a clear scope is developed, and there are no construction barriers.
Handover projects with completed scope for execution.
Develop commissioning plans for each project and support safe start-up.
Follow best work practices, client standards, and relevant industry design codes.
Requirements:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
2 to 7 years experience
2+ years of offshore facility design experience.
Ability to travel to offshore facilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.
Attention to detail.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Experience Preferred:
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) or passed FE exam
Familiarity with API 14C and other industry codes and standards
