Position: Bell Labs LLM & Hallucination Detection Co-Op

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for PhD or Master's Degree in computer science, computational sciences, computer systems engineering, or a related field with an accredited school in the USA.


As a part of our team, you will:

  • Understand and have in-depth experience with large language models
  • Understand and have in-depth experience with information theoretic tools applied to large data sets (eg mutual information, KL divergence, information geometry, etc)
  • Familiarity with the attention mechnaims used in LLMs
  • Familiarity with Gen AI summarization and prompt engineering
  • Able to independently explore, identify, and mine sources of relevant data
  • Able to interact within a small team with clear communication skills



  • Proficient in the use of Python scripting language and libraries for language modeling
