A Special Education Paraprofessional supports students with disabilities in achieving their educational goals under the supervision of a certified teacher or special education professional. This role involves assisting with classroom instruction, behavior management, and the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs.
- Assist in adapting lesson materials to meet individual learning styles.
- Implement behavior management strategies and support social-emotional development.
- Help students with physical, emotional, or medical needs, including personal care tasks if required.
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers and staff.

Qualifications:
