Volt Machine Operator I in New Ulm, Minnesota

W e bring you tomorrow's opportunity, today. Volt is immediately hiring an Machine Operator inNew Ulm, MN! As an Machine Operator:

  • Be able to read and follow SWPS.
  • Operate simple testing equipment.
  • Operate electrical/ pneumatic screw driver, board routers, leak tester, board cutters, ultrasonic welders, leak tester, Arbin laser machine etc.).
  • Basic computer skills, i.e. (DPQ, NT) training will be provided.
  • Use basic tools such as " tweezers, hand screw drivers, syringes, scrappers, and calibrated tools for measurements).
  • Handle chemicals per dept guidelines.
  • Perform product inspection per SWP and on the job training.
  • Assemble, testing, labeling and packaging products.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.
  • Operate production machines to perform operations or produce parts.
  • Sets up machines, loads raw material into machines, manually operates machines, and unloads finished product from machine.
  • Works from written or verbal instructions and general operating procedures, which requires the application of some judgment and selectivity.
  • Operator has control over product quality.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and skills are required.
  • Basic data entry and computer proficiency preferred.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.

This is a Contract opportunity.
